A blockchain can be technically compatible with Ethereum and can facilitate the transfer of tokens between them if it is Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible. One example of an EVM-compatible blockchain is Polygon, and another is Solana.
However, it is important to note that you cannot send tokens from one blockchain to another directly just because they are EVM-compatible. To move tokens from one EVM-compatible blockchain to another, they need to be bridged over to the opposite chain.
